Our credit report or credit history talks a lot about our financial status and more so our overall personality. Credit report speaks about how we spend our money and how responsible we are as citizens in our dealings with various business establishments such as banks, lending institutions, stores, etc.

Credit report is synonymous to our financial reputation – a credit reputation to be exact. It predicts the likelihood that we will be able to repay our debts and other forms of financial obligation. Some simple tips to helping you avoid bad credit report, and improve your credit history:

• Keep Credit Debt At Minimum. Manage your debts by making sure that you have enough left before the end of the month.
• Don’t Close CC or CD accounts. Closing credit card and checking accounts damages your credit score.
• Pay Your Bills On Time. Don’t let the day pass and make your bills fall no their due dates. Allot monthly budget to regularly pay your credit card bills and utilities.

These are not cut in stones and you’ll surely have something in mind that are more useful than the ones above. But these three tips will help you manage if not totally improve your credit score.
