Avril Using The Computer

I love my nephews and nieces. Seeing them enjoy life and protect them as muchas I can is already an achievement for me. I know I am not a parent yet but I witnessed how these children grow as I guide both them and their parents.

My sister who’s just 18 when she got married barely knew parenting at that time so we helped her get through such a difficult phase of her life. Now that she’s 20, I know that he has a learned a great deal how parenting presents a really big challenge to all parents. Here’s my two-year old Avril playing the computer. She likes to tap on my keyboard everytime she sees me using my computer. I wonder when I’ll ever get my own kid…But surely, I promise to be very responsible…

Parenting is really a challenging task. It is a 24×7 job that needs full attention. I, myself is a parent to two wonderful kids. And being one has given me the opportunity to share my self to my kids in an unconditional manner. To be a parent now a days is more challenging than maybe 30 or 40 years ago. There are less conflicts between parents and kids then than now. However, the vocation of a parent is always the same no matter what generation we are in – parents need to be a constant guide, inspiration and support to their kids. Parents are ought to be teachers and friends. Growing kids of this Y generation have more issues than just food and toys, and therefore, parents need to be very vigilant. It is challenging to be a parent but it is one job that is rewarding and fun.
