Who's To Blame In Global Climate Change?

I should have blogged about this last October 15 as my entry to Blog Action Day’s cause. It was a busy week for me. Forgive me.

For the past few decades, we’ve seen just how our global climate changed. I’ve never been out of the country yet so I can’t really tell if there’s much difference to what others are experiencing far abroad in terms of climate change. My observations might be clouded with biases as I am so much exposed to all the issues posted online but one thing is for sure; the world’s climate is changing and we need to do something to reverse it before its too late.

Our continued use of carbon-based materials is taking toll on the total amount of greenhouse gases present in the atmosphere. These greenhouses are the key players in effectively trapping the heat from the cosmos. We continue to pollute our seas, our rivers, and lakes just as we destroy the very source of our air we breathe through the continued burning of fossil fuels.

I know that every country has their share in what had happened as a global catastrophe. Typhoons are getting stronger and ravaging more countries than ever. Low-lying areas are now reclaimed by the seas and more and more people are being displaced because of this.

The governments around the globe should all act towards to seize whatever opportunities left for us to take to reverse this growing trend of climatic catastrophe we call global warming. I believe that we can if only we are just serious with this business.

Hello… honestly I dont believe in climate change. As my argument, there are more pressing environmental issues to be dealt than this! It is a politically-motivated agenda. By the way, Im a fan of Blog Action Day since 2007 and this year, water is the theme and I posted some of my photographs that show the different source of water taken during my travels abroad… Merry Xmas.
